University of Durham BA (Hons) Theology 1990 - 1993
Sandy has over 18 years' experience in the art insurance market. After graduating from Durham University he joined Hiscox, the leading fine art underwriters at Lloyd's of London, before becoming a broker in 1997.
Sandy has lectured on insurance on the MA Course for Gallery Studies at Essex University. This year, Sandy was the winner of the BBC's Antiques Master quiz, demonstrating his exhaustive knowledge of the fine arts and antiques world.

The Virtu policies allow clients from every part of the art market to work closely with RTIB Ltd to tailor the policy to suit their precise needs and requirements. There will be four different policies for Art and Antique Dealers, Private and Corporate Collectors, Museums and Galleries, and for Auction Houses.
He continues: "Our new Virtu policies are market-leading products. In my experience clients like to have the peace-of-mind of knowing that they have the right insurance cover with as little admin as possible.
