Cancellation cover

We are pleased to confirm that, following the late cancellation of the York Fair in January, we are adding cancellation cover to each ABA Scheme Insurance Policy from renewal.
The York Bookfair was cancelled in January, due to the adverse weather conditions which meant that neither the venue owners nor the Local Council were able to provide Public Liability Insurance. Despite fair cancellation being such a rare occurance, we feel that, having cover in place, should this happen again, will benefit our clients.
This additional insurance will cover our clients for £1,000 in aggregate for each policy period. Higher sums insured can be requested and will be rated on a case by case basis. Full policy wordings will be issued at renewal from 01 April 2010.
